Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and business continuity plans (BCPs) for all critical business functions and operations worldwide Conduct regular risk assessments, business impact analyses and security audits to identify potential threats & vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies Collaborate with regional teams to tailor BCPs to local requirements while ensuring alignment with global standards and objectives Lead the development and execution of business continuity exercises and simulations to test the effectiveness of BCPs and identify areas for improvement Provide guidance and support to regional teams during crisis situations and facilitate timely response and recovery efforts Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of BCM efforts and report on the status of global resilience to senior management Stay abreast of emerging threats and industry trends in BCM to continuously enhance our global BCM program and ensure readiness for future challenges Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate BCM requirements into new projects and initiatives on a global scale

Bachelor's degree in IT, business continuity management, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as CBCP, MBCI, or CRISC are highly preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing BCPs in a multinational corporate environment Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, business impact analysis techniques, and crisis management principles Experience in leading business continuity exercises, tabletop simulations, and crisis response drills on a global scale Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders across different cultures and time zones Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex global situations and make sound decisions under pressure Excellent English and very good German skills
