The Sales Director's mission is to manage the German agency's sales, supporting marketing business and helping to define the sales and local marketing strategy in accordance with group strategy and related processes. The job holder is responsible for achieving the agency's sales objectives as well as meeting short- and medium-term strategic objectives. Analyses the market, segments, identifies fields for prospecting Analyses customer portfolio, identifies high-priority accounts and assigns them to members of the team Sets the quantitative and qualitative objectives of the members of the team Challenges the account plans drawn up by account managers and business developers Manages and leads the sales team in the achievement of objectives Sets the tempo by monitoring business weekly and monthly and based on KPIs: booking, billed margin, SIL score, number of business appointments, etc. Ensures achievement of objectives relating targets of the position: booking, billed margin, prod margin and fixed-price margin, growth on key accounts, account planning and qualification of contracts >EUR1M, pipeline creation, SIL score The booking forecast has to be managed monthly Supports upskilling of his/her teams: appointments, customer presentation, prospecting techniques Ensures proper coordination of sales teams with BU and agency's cross-disciplinary functions (operations, delivery, resources) Supervises terms of negotiation and price terms for most important contracts Ensures proper management of sales administration (contracts; billing; CRM updating, etc.) Reports on his/her performance to agency management, secures forecasts Regularly spends time developing medium-term sales strategies Develops close ties with local participants to develop awareness of our client (professional associations, partners, sub-contractors, universities, etc.) Promotes our clients partnership programs at the agency and region Actively monitors market developments, offers from competition to adapt the agency's business proposals Recruits, trains, motivates, and assesses his/her staff; pays attention to management of their careers Lead generation strategy together with the marketing team Development of campaign ideas and the KPI's per campaign Negotiations and maintaining contacts at C-Level Helps marketing to organize sales events
8-10 years' experience in in business development and valuable experience in our sector Higher education diploma level general training (business or engineering school) Knowledge of offers and services Knowledge of digital transformation-related business, operational, technological and governance challenges Knowledge of operational marketing and business development techniques You have excellent communication and negotiation skills, distinctive analytical ability and pro-active, Target-oriented capabilit Long lasting experience in leading interdisciplinary and geographically separated teams Responsible to manage a healthy pipeline to secure the yearly sales revenue target. Take actions to plan a yearly double-digit growth. Lobbying of customers and partners Speaking skills, fluent in German and English
