R&D Engineer, Software Development (m/f/d)
Aufgaben:
Develop and test desktop medical software applications using C++, following industry standards and best practices
Design, implement and maintain a cloud-based database solution for medical imaging data, optimizing access, stability, and scalability
Develop and execute comprehensive software tests, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing, to validate software functionality and compliance
Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, user guides, and test plans to facilitate understanding and compliance with regulatory guidelines
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design and develop innovative solutions for research-driven software projects
Qualifikationen:
Master's degree or higher degree (University, FH) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field
Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Python and object-oriented programming; hands-on experience with the Qt framework (Qt Widgets and/or QML) for desktop application development is a plus
Strong experience with SQL and database design, including cloud integration and data security principles
Knowledge of standard software development lifecycle tools, version control (Git), and issue tracking workflows; familiarity with medical imaging, AI, or cloud-based software systems is an advantage
Very good English skills, both written and spoken; German is a plus
