Sales Engineer R&S (m/f/d)
Sales of post-tensioning systems for repair and strengthening projects Technical advice and project support for our customers "Face-to-the customer" and communication with authorities Development of special project related technical solutions and the corresponding cost calculation Preparation of the fundamentals for the final settlement as well as implementation of an active supplement management Write technical proposals and prepare estimations Manage sales leads and proposals in our CRM system and ensure that all information is properly and continuously entered, logged and updated Follow through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion Ensuring a smooth sales-to-operations turnover and monitor progress Assisting in resolving field performance, collections and other customer satisfaction issues as needed Work collaboratively with the Lifespan Management (LM) team to ensure clear accountability and a coordinated approach is in place for all clients and internal teams, resulting in a plan that meets or exceeds the established budget Build strong relationships with external clients, customers, engineers, vendors and operational team members Prospect for new opportunities through the preparation and delivery of presentations, networking, cold calling and vendor relationships to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities Support sales by creating new opportunities with existing customers through educating clients about relevant products and services Continuous hands-on understanding of the DYWIDAG target market, competitor landscape and identify risks Work collaboratively with the designated LM marketing partner to develop and deliver marketing campaigns, collateral, project reports, social media postings, etc. Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's or Master's in Technical or Civil Engineering degree preferred Distinct customer and service orientation as well as a solid technical understanding of the sale of products and system solutions that require intensive advice Thorough understanding of post tensioning systems, structural repair and strengthening systems Ideally, experience in project work Communication and negotiation skills as well as a confident demeanor Knowledge of technical proposal writing, presentation, conflict management, negotiation and communication techniques Experience on civil construction, heavy construction, bridge construction or similar construction site experience to be considered for this position Ability to write, think and speak technically. A strong degree of technical acumen Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working as well as commitment and motivation MS Office and knowledge of ERP, ideally NAVISION Very good German and English language skills, ideally knowledge of another European language Experience in using and working with CRM tools Excellent customer service, organizational, multitasking and time management skills Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate long-term relationships Proven ability to meet sales targets related to generating new business and delivering additional revenue from existing business Sales Techniques (value selling / consultative selling) Knowledge of value-added strategies. Travel required within the Germany and Europe
