Business Development Manager OES (Optical Emission Spectroscopy) (m/f/d)
Generate sales and achieve agreed financial targets within EMEA Take responsibility for the strategic customer accounts within the territory Travel throughout the territory to call on established and prospective customers Work with other territory OES experts as a global team. Demonstrate products to customers when required Follow up sales opportunities and ensure quotations are sent promptly Identify new business opportunities and take appropriate action Create and follow up new enquires promptly and efficiently Maintain good customer relationships, providing regular contact and identifying and meeting customer requirements Project a professional and competent image of HHA and its products at all times Engage on major bids, ensuring they are won at best price and terms. Intervene personally with end-users as appropriate. Maintain and grow relationships with our distributor partners Maintain an accurate and up to date contact database Attend shows and exhibitions as necessary Maintain contact with the VP Sales & Service, ensuring that (s)he is kept aware of progress, opportunities and developments Participate in training and development activities as required Operate at all times in accordance with health and safety at work legislation Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities in line with the scope and level of responsibility of the post, which might reasonably be required
A degree or equivalent experience in material science, chemistry, or science-related field Previous experience in metals production environment / applications is preferred Applications/Industry knowledge Strong communication and negotiation skills Good English language (spoken and written) skills Ability to identify business opportunities for our products Personal qualities: A strategic thinker, able to analyse markets and trends and develop new approaches. Proactive, driven by results and reaching targets Self-starter, with a can-do attitude Well organised with an attention to detail Excellent communication, networking and influencing skills. Creative and innovative approach to developing new ideas or solutions The ability to work independently with effective time management skills Customer-focused and can work on own initiative
