Postdoc (gn*) Core Facility Leader in Spatial Biology
Aufgaben:
BIC is closely connected with ongoing (CRC TRR 332, CRU 342, CRC 1123) and planned research consortia with a focus on immunology thus ensuring lively scientific exchange with leaders in the field. Be part of a leading research team in the field of immunology and neutrophil biology. Work with cutting-edge spatial biology. Collaborate with a diverse group of researchers focused on innovative and impactful science. We offer opportunities for professional growth and development within a stimulating research environment.
Advancing, developing and implementing procedures for multiplexed analysis of tissue specimens with specific focus on proteomic approaches
Collaborate with scientists to support their research needs, both within the lab and from external groups
Ensure effective troubleshooting and maintenance of instruments, coordinating with technical support as necessary
Stay updated with advancements in spatial biology and technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities
Contribute to the planning and execution of scientific projects and publications
Part of Research Innovation
Qualifikationen:
A PhD degree in Life Sciences or related fields (e.g., Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Physiology)
Strong background in microscopy, image analysis, and/or computational methods relevant to spatial biology
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with willingness to interact effectively with diverse groups of researchers; strong command of English; proficiency in German is desirable but not required
Experience in grant writing and fundraising would be advantageous
